What is ANNH?Advanced Neuro-Noetic HypnosisTM (ANNH) is the integral mind/body art and science which studies human potential and transformation, combining the latest concepts with neurodynamics, quantum theory, and ancient wisdom. It is our belief that the human brain fulfills a vital role in the reception, processing, and transmission of thought energy. As such, each neural substrate has an ideal individual optimal balance and a harmonic balance with the rest of the brain and nervous system. Therefore, the activity of each substrate is either enhanced, in idle, or inhibited in a pattern, which is related to levels of performance, and/or the existence of psychological pathologies such as phobias, addictions, and limiting beliefs. Furthermore, we realize that the human brain is only one part of the system. The human mind encompasses the brain, a multitude of organs, and roughly a trillion cells of the body which exists within the electro-magnetic and quantum field, and is "entangled" with the rest of humanity and the wider universe within a space/time continuum. ANNH is the culmination of over 30 years of study, and combines voluminous modern mainstream research in the medical, psychological, and science disciplines with wisdom from many ancient cultures. Indeed, it spans the metaphysical to the quantum, and the subjective/anecdotal to the hard-science, well-documented research which is widely accepted by prestigious and established universities and research hospitals in the United States and around the world. The ANNH program is designed to build competency by assuring that candidates are well versed in a wide range of classical and modern techniques. Many of our methods have been used for decades by licensed medical and mental health practitioners. Others have been inspired by the more forward-looking instructors, who have been teaching under the supervision of educational providers approved by such reputable organizations as the American Psychological Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors, and other reputable mainstream healthcare organizations. (The aforementioned organizations do not endorse and are not endorsed by this Institute.) The Neurology of Suggestion concepts that form the basis for ANNH is predominantly a conceptual, connect-the-dots model that combines a wide spectrum of classical and leading edge accepted mainstream concepts and methods into a comprehensive competency-based program for clinicians and coaches. Our goal is to understand human experience, potential, and the transformative process. We believe that the human mind and body are truly integral. In fact, we have a very strong belief that our "connectivity" is not limited to only the trillion cells of the human body (or the 100 billion neurons of the brain). We are truly connected in communities, organizations, families, countries, and even the human race. However, it goes beyond that. We are only beginning to understand the intricacies of quantum physics and Einstein's relativity theory. When we truly begin to understand "entanglement," we realize that we exist in another extreme level of simultaneous connectivity that not only links everything, but in a way that truly illustrates that we are actually part of one continuum. ANNH realizes that we exist in a universe of concentrations of energy. Sometimes we call these concentrations solid matter, liquid, or gas. (There is even some talk of "anti-matter".) When looking at the human body, recent innovations in the emerging fields of energy medicine and energy psychology (as well as the ancient art of acupuncture) have related physiological and psychological health and illness to organization and balances. This means that certain imbalances equal illness. Therefore, the goal is to rebalance energy in order to achieve health. The human brain operates in an environment that consists of the organization and balance of energy. This has been a well-established fact for those clinicians who are familiar with Electroencephalography (EEG), which measures electrical activity of the brain, and hemoencephalography (HEG), which takes into consideration the fact that the brain gives off more heat and has a greater blood flow and oxygenation in areas of high activity. These concepts, together with modern brain imaging using Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), have clearly shown that optimal and suboptimal functioning is a factor of patterns of organization of energy within the brain. By employing advanced hypnosis methodologies, the goal of ANNH is to use the intentionality of the brain's frontal lobe and the environment created by the hypnotherapist to re-structure energy concentrations in the mind and the body in a way that will effect lasting change.
